As a child, Adam grew up with dance music. His father was one of the first mobile DJs in the Greensboro, NC area. When Adam was thirteen his father taught him how to spin records and get a crowd going. Nothing gets a crowd going like some good Disco or Funk. Adam began spinning deep and funky house when he was 18 in every club he could get into at the time in Charlotte, NC. About a year later Adam was introduced to Techno when he heard Jamaul Redmond play live. Adam fell in love with the abstract experimental pounding, robotic and atonal styles of Techno. It reminded him of the original music, the drums of Africa, the music that truly moves one's spirit. Ever since, Adam has been spinning Techno and writing his own tracks. He recently relocated to New York with hopes that he could connect with a better electronic music base and a more radical political base.
